hello and welcome!
Hi! I’m so excited you’re here! Here’s a little insight into where I’ve been and where I’m headed.
I received classical piano training from age six, and I began playing in church at 8, with my piano teacher at the organ. By age twenty, I’d performed in various concerts and competitions, earning several awards and college scholarships. I graduated from the University of Mary Washington (VA) with B.A. degrees in International Affairs and Piano Performance.
I went on to work in the non-profit and corporate worlds for 7 years, overseeing exchange student programs and international relocations for executives and professionals. I took a hiatus to become a full-time parent. My husband, Josh, and I have been married almost 18 years, and I’m so grateful to be mom to our son (9) and daughter (6).
While raising the kids, I work part-time as my church worship director and teach private music lessons. A part of the Converge Northeast network, Ridgefield Baptist Church welcomes about 150 to our services. About a third of us are kids and teens under age 18. I lead our worship band, plan services, and provide strategic and practical support to our welcome, fellowship, A/V, children’s, and discipleship ministries.
Today, I’m beginning a new facet of my career, as an independent artist, singer-songwriter, and composer.
I write for corporate worship, and for private, devotional worship.
I believe in creating faith-filled music for rejoicing, lamenting, questioning, wondering, and honoring our loved ones and neighbors.
I believe in creating missional music that nudges hearers toward Christ, touching hearts and breaking down barriers.
I’ve prayed, and waited, and asked the Lord for wisdom. I didn’t start lightly. It’s been a matter of soul-searching, and embracing many disciplines. But the Lord kept reminding me that music is meant to be shared, and my creative voice is important.
I hope you’ll consider partnering with me in support of this music ministry.
Wishing you a blessed 2025!
